Professionally: More than 14 years of dual-combined experience in editorial/media and marketing/brand management positions, plus 16 years’ involvement in the action sports industry. From this foundation: a network and community, a regarded street credibility, and the keen understanding of methods and means for playing to a super-coveted, highly discerning youth audience. In short, an ability and awareness—dynamically transcendent—applicable and valuable to alternative consumer environments.

Personally: I get stoked in the ocean, on the hill, and in the city: surfing, snowboarding, and skating, from way back when. I’m excited by mid-century design x ’20s-built Spanish houses; good books, classic BMX and cruiser bikes, road trips, steelhead fishing, Tumblr blogs, and an annual sojourn south to Mainland Mexico. I find kind reward in long solo runs and mentoring a small collective of upstart industry kids. NUMBER ONE FAN of my wife, Kelly, and "Rad Dad" to my son, Zephyr.
